My interest in technology started early. At the age of 10, I convinced my parents to invest in my education by enrolling me in a professional formation in Windows 98, command line, and Microsoft Office. A few years later I was creating my first website, and before the age of 18, I knew my way inside the Nokia Symbian Operating System, where I'd written my first phone apps. After that, I was consistently active in everything I could. For 3 consecutive times, I was the regional Champion in an International Mental Calculus Contest, I was a proud member of the first regional Basketball Champion team of Penamacor. I received one National Art Award, representing the Malcata Lynx, and multiple other awards in all sorts of competitions. (Yes, I've always been competitive) I was part of a theater crew, sponsored by the Almada Amateur Theather Group. I've helped to create the first junior team of ADEP (Penamacor), which is now an all-ages academy, proud to be represented in the Portuguese National Feminine team. Studied Computer Science at UBI, Covilhã, Portugal. To kickstart my competencies, I've worked as a freelancer and started a tech blog that reached the top 50 most-read blogs in Portugal, and a score of 2 in the Alexa Global Ranking of Trust and Originality. In 2013 I joined a specialized formation in Altran and later signed up with the company. I had many clients with different needs, which was fulfilling by giving me opportunities in different sectors where I wanted to learn and work, broadening my horizons, and kick-starting my career. Within Altran, I've worked with several international clients, like Alpha Networks from Belgium, and Hewlett-Packard EMEA in Munich, Germany. Back to Fundão, I was part of a Portuguese tech research project called Vi2ion (Second Vision) for augmented reality solutions, in partnership with UBI, UA, Altran, and Outsystems. My longest client was BNP Paribas in Lisbon, where I worked for 5 years on multiple projects until I decided to leave Capgemini (Altran), in 2020, and pursue my personal goals. In 2021 I was invited to join AYA, where I was part of the development team of MEDVET and PEMV, two Portuguese government portals for Veterinary services, and in 2023, I joined Communities Comunicações Lda, a parent company of AYA, which is a local enterprise with a lot of focus on digital services, networks, and education. My competence ranges within different areas of technology, from data streaming, cloud, hardware, prototypes, many programming languages, scripting, database management, process definition, efficiency, APIS, SAAS, PAAS, security, finance, and recently medicine and veterinary products. In my free time, I play music, write, and produce multimedia content.
